Just wanted to let you know that dreams are bubbling! Bubble, bubble. Dreams are brewing! My Dream Support Team and I are about to make some moves. The last five months of the year are going to be GOOD! Bubble, bubble. Never Stop Dreaming! Movies After Dark in Pope Park, Windham High School and Two Rivers Middle Magnet School. Where will DC1 and the Ice Cream for a Dream truck be next? Just wait and see, NSD! So, yesterday I had a meeting at ESPN with the Asofsky Foundation, The Legacy Foundation and Hartford Youth Scholars to discuss our proposal for The Dream Chaser Program. Based on the response in the meeting, I feel pretty good about the possibility of us getting funded. After the meeting, we got an exclusive tour of ESPN. Now, to be honest, I wasn't expecting to be that impressed but long story short, I was! What a facility! We were able to go into the new cafeteria that opened yesterday morning where you can push your favorite teams fight song as you walk down the hall. We went on the set of Baseball Tonight and peeked in a few other studios. The best thing was, you know how in the commercials they make it seem like famous people are always walking around ESPN? Well, it's true! We walked out of one studio where Les Miles was being interviewed and Nick Saban walked down the hall right by us. What a great experience. If you ever get a chance to go and you are a sports fan, don't miss it!
Never Stop Dreaming! So I went up to UCONN to speak to the CON CAN students. I got lost because I didn't know which "Hall"I was supposed to be at. Saw my friend Carl Dean. Spent some time with him talking about South Africa (just found out I'm going for sure at the end of the year). Was picked up and driven to the location. I wasn't feeling well but when I saw the young people my light turned on. My friend, Kevin Booker gave an awesome introduction. I gave a speech. 7 out of 10. Still, a few of the kids dapped me up and asked for a "Terry" (that's another thing). I saw Malik Champlain before he started his set. Got a little of that Passion-Hunger -Drive energy. Got a ride back to my car and headed back to Hartford for a last second wedding of my friend Yolanda...I don't know her new last name. I promised her I would visit her in Australia in the next 18 months and I will. Left the reception early to go get my kids. Now I wait for them but that's cool. No pictures. Sometimes you have to be there. #experiencelifenopictures
Never Stop Dreaming! I had an enjoyable time speaking with these young people about chasing their dreams. #neverstopdreaming
Just in case you were wondering, this week Dream Chaser #1 will be doing Ice Cream for a Dream or a speech every day. Here is a breakdown of the week. If you are out and about come share your dream or at least say "hi".

Never Stop Dreaming! P.S. I picked up my gear for my scuba diving lessons next month. NSD! Just in case you didn't know, my dream is to make working at The Dream Support Network my full time job. The way I imagine this business is a combination of Dream Chaser Workshops paired with Ice Cream for a Dream, dream board activities and videos. Also the selling of t-shirts, books and other products. Also, viewings of our documentary "Powered by Dreams" and our new web series cartoon. I see The Dream Chaser Program in schools and other Dream Chasers using our products and lifestyle to live the life of their dreams. I envision a location where fellow Dream Chasers can come for help and utilize the space to pursue their dreams. Most importantly, I see myself continuing to chase my dreams and cross dreams off my Dream List. I have a few things in the cooker that may help jump this dream off. stay tuned!
